Terms & Conditions

At Yash Car Rentals, we prioritize your safety, comfort, and responsibility while driving. To ensure a smooth and transparent rental experience, please read the following terms carefully before taking delivery of the vehicle.


1. Driving & Safety Rules

  • Strictly No Drinking and Driving.
    Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any accident, damage, or legal issue caused under such circumstances will be fully borne by the hirer, and insurance coverage will be void.

  • The hirer must follow all traffic rules and speed limits at all times. Any penalties, challans, or violations will be the full responsibility of the hirer.

  • The hirer is fully responsible for any misuse of the vehicle, fraudulent activity, or involvement in police or legal matters (FIR, etc.) arising during the rental period.


2. Vehicle Damage & Responsibility

  • The hirer is fully liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle during the rental period.

  • For damages below ₹1,50,000, the entire repair cost must be paid by the hirer.

  • For damages above ₹1,50,000, an insurance claim may be processed; however, the hirer must pay 20% of the total damage amount as the deductible and downtime cost.

  • Any intentional, careless, or reckless use of the vehicle will result in full recovery of damages, regardless of insurance coverage.


3. Booking, Cancellation & Duration

  • One rental day is counted from 9:00 AM to 9:00 AM the following day.

  • Late returns beyond 9:00 AM will be charged as an additional day.

  • Cancellations after confirmation or vehicle delivery will incur a charge equivalent to one full day’s rental, including next-day charges if applicable.


4. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

  • The hirer must record a clear video of the car (interior and exterior) before taking delivery as proof of condition.

  • Any existing scratches or dents should be reported before starting the trip.

  • The car must be returned in the same condition as received. Excessive dirt, stains, or odor may result in cleaning charges.


5. Fuel & Mileage Policy

  • The car will be provided with a certain level of fuel and must be returned with the same fuel level.

  • Any extra fuel remaining in the car upon return is non-refundable.

  • The hirer is responsible for all refueling during the rental period.


6. Parking, Tolls & Traffic Violations

  • All parking charges, toll fees, and fines are to be paid directly by the hirer.

  • In case of traffic violations, the hirer must pay any penalties or fines issued by the Traffic Police or RTO.

  • Ensure that parking is done legally and safely to avoid towing or fines.


7. Geographical Restriction

  • The rented car is strictly to be driven within the state of Goa.

  • Taking the vehicle outside Goa without prior written consent will result in penalties and cancellation of the rental agreement.


8. Keys, Accessories & Security Deposit

  • Lost key charges: ₹25,000 (as each key is electronically programmed to the vehicle).

  • The hirer is responsible for all car accessories, remotes, and tools provided at the time of delivery.

  • A security deposit is collected at the time of booking and will be refunded in full upon safe return of the vehicle, subject to verification of vehicle condition and pending dues (if any).


9. Driver’s License & Eligibility

  • The driver must hold a valid driver’s license that is at least 2 years old from the date of issue.

  • The hirer must be 21 years or older to rent a vehicle.

  • A copy of the driver’s license must be submitted at the time of pickup for verification.


10. Insurance Coverage

  • All vehicles are covered under comprehensive insurance, but it does not cover negligence, drunken driving, or unauthorized usage.

  • In case of an accident, the hirer must immediately inform our support team and file an FIR (if required) for the insurance process.

  • Failure to report an accident or police case promptly may result in loss of insurance benefits and full liability on the hirer.


11. General Guidelines

  • Smoking is not permitted inside the car.

  • Pets are not allowed unless approved in advance.

  • The company is not responsible for any personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

  • Please treat the vehicle with care — drive responsibly and respect traffic laws.
